Learning to Trust is a study of two years in Laura Ecken's classroom, where the rubber of Developmental Discipline hits the road. Ecken's diligence, and persistence in spite of days of doubt, paid off with results shown even years later when her first and second graders were in high school. The book is a compelling and convincing read, with lessons well worth implementing.

e currently know of no one using this text, which is newer than the titles above, but it is noteworthy for both the richness in its text and its illustrations. Rather than being the work of a single author—who frequently has greater expertise in some traditions than others—Partridge has gathered together a series of authors, each of whom writes in the area of his or her expertise.
